But science marches forward, and times change—as do the ingredients that customers do and do not want to see in their household products.

This revamped TJ's Lavender Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent still cleans with coconut-derived surfactants and is still hypoallergenic and made without dyes or chemical fragrances (essential oils for the win!), but now, it’s also free from optical brighteners. Instead, they've added stain-fighting enzymes (protease, amylase & mannanese) to the formula, improving its overall efficacy.
