Seasonal! TJ’s Hard Top Chocolate Shell Topping is a liquid ice cream topper that hardens once it’s poured or drizzled over your cold ice cream. It’s similar to the delicate (but solid) texture you find around a classic ice cream bar, or that nostalgic shell surrounding your dipped frozen banana at the beach. What may be different between TJ’s Hard Top Shell Topping and those other hard-shell toppings is the fact that ours is no mere “chocolatey” coating—it’s made with cocoa powder and real dark Chocolate (including cocoa mass and cocoa butter). And you can taste the difference!

Store the container at room temperature (do not refrigerate) and when you are ready to use, shake very well, open the flip-top, and pour over your bowl of ice cream or your cone. (NOTE: If Topping becomes thick or oil separation occurs, warm the bottle in a bowl of hot tap water for 5 minutes.) Almost immediately, a shell will form, and you’ll be ready to enjoy the snappy crunch and rich chocolate flavour in contrast to the smooth and creamy frozen dessert underneath.
